Fire Investigation Officer (Level 2 Skills for Justice)

The course will develop delegates skills and knowledge to enable them to prepare, investigate and report a fire investigation and to communicate / present evidence of findings of the investigation to stakeholders.

An understanding of the science, technology and legal issues that informs a fire investigation, A comprehensive understanding of the investigative techniques and the current tools used in fire investigation, The ability to critically evaluate research and methods in the subject of fire investigation, The ability to present evidence related to fire investigations in court and at other hearings.
