This morning, it was announced that our base ‘Durham Tees Valley Airport’ has rebranded back to its original name of ‘Teesside Airport!’
Backed by the Mayor of Tees Valley, Ben Houchen, it is hoped that more routes are planned for the airport including a London service.
The name change is set to be a popular one, as a poll of 14,000 people last year saw 93% support changing the name back to Teesside International.
